Using Inbuilt Classes
Visual programming relies on a huge number of classes which are carefully designed so that the use of inheritance is maximised. Inbuilt classes are available also to console programs. We demonstrate first the use of the non-visual TStringList, TQueue and TRegExpr classes, then show how you can create objects of visual classes. (Our last example draws on a form without showing the console and so is not a genuine console program. We include it here because it comprises console-like code and we did not 'drop' components onto a form to create it.)
